Cotton sari can be a really comfortable wear
for summers. Cotton saris are worn to
combat the heat of the summer months. Many states of India have varieties of
cotton saris. Some of these varieties like the Bengali tant sari are famous for
fabric quality. Some like zamdani are famous for their thread work. Some Indian
saris use khadi, which was originally a kind of home spun cloth, rough in

saree. The entire sari is covered with
small dots of embroidery.

patterns in pallu. These saris are
completely hand woven and that is why it takes several months to make one sari.
